CMP Course Requirements

 Candidates must have at least one of the following to start the course:

  • Five years’ experience in a construction management role
  • Completion of a Level 4 Site Management qualification
  • Technical qualifications such as HNC or HND.

 Exams

The exams are via an Open Book Exam at the end of the programme. You will be provided with a construction project scenario and will answer four questions relating to the studied modules. You will be given 10 days to submit your answer to the questions through the virtual learning environment, Moodle. This allows you to use the resources of your choice to complete your exam.

CMP (CHARTERED MEMBERSHIP PATHWAY)

The CMP is suitable for Construction professionals who have no formal qualifications but are experienced construction professionals who have high levels of competence. The CMP with Scadding Associates Ltd compromises of weekly information and student activities and expected self-study at a time that is convenient to you. We offer a workshop to help you prepare for your exams and our tutor Darren is available 6 days a week to provide advice and support. The CMP will help you further develop on your existing knowledge to give you a firm understanding of the principles of construction management. Upon successful completion of the CMP you will progress to completion of the Professional Review which if successful is the final bench to achieving MCIOB.
